REACH research commercialization at Nordic Innovation House Silicon Valley.

Aitoware’s founder and COO, Paula Salomaa, has successfully led another REACH research commercialization program cohort as Program Director at Nordic Innovation House Silicon Valley. REACH Cohort #10 (2025–26) brought together eight ambitious Nordic research-based startups and spinouts with unique technologies, mission-driven founding teams, and strong international ambitions. Over the six-month hybrid program, the teams worked closely with Silicon Valley mentors, investors, and industry experts through workshops, mentoring, and an intensive Palo Alto immersion. The cohort represented a wide range of deep tech innovations, from AI and energy systems to health technologies, sustainability solutions, and advanced research commercialization.

The feedback from the cohort was again extremely positive, with the long-term Net Promoter Score remaining above 80. The success of the program is built on three key factors:

  1. Highly curated applicants creating a motivated cohort with an open mindset for learning and implementing new ideas.

  2. Top-class Silicon Valley–based mentors sharing their deep experience through a pragmatic, hands-on approach.

  3. A well-tested and professionally run program structure and leadership creating an inclusive and safe environment for learning, experimentation, and peer support.

The program is organized by Nordic Innovation House Silicon Valley, a Nordic platform supporting Nordic companies entering the U.S. market and strengthening connections between the Nordic and Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems. Participating teams are supported by Vinnova - Swedish Innovation AgencyBusiness Finland and The Research Council of Norway.
